I’m Chris Vacher, the Director of Worship at Orangeville Baptist Church in Orangeville, Ontario.

I’ve been on staff here since November of 2005 but I’ve been leading worship since 1994 or so. I’m a lucky man – married to the girl of my dreams and dad to three incredible, beautiful little girls. Life is never slow or monotonous around our house!

I started this blog in February 2007 and have kept it up at various levels ever since. Usually I’ll go on a good run – post some good thoughts, recap our worship services, let you know about some cool new stuff out there – and that will be followed up by a few weeks or slow, maybe even non-existant, posting. I don’t feel much pressure to post every day, every week, whatever. When I’ve got something worth posting that I think you’ll appreciate hearing, I’ll post it.

Hopefully you’ll take some time to look around and get a feel for what life is like up here in the Canadian wilderness!
