Here are some things that have caught my eye over the past little while -

  • (Really) Stunning Pictures and Photos from Smashing Magazine

  • How To Have A Worship Service Like Fellowship Church at ChurchRelevance.com
Okay – the title is ridiculously misleading but you NEED to go and check out these videos from FC’s Christmas service. Wow!! Great work!!
  • Manufactured Landscapes on The Hour at JordonCooper.com

  • “Acoustic Crash” @ West Ridge at unMediocre.com

Several weeks ago, we put a call out to all people at West Ridge who [1] owned an acoustic guitar, and [2] knew how to play it…at least a little. With some a little preparation, we invited them to show up at rehearsal having practiced two songs that we made available on our website. About 60 folks showed up (we were hoping for 40).

  • What Can 1 Dollar Really Do? at Greylias.com

Often, experiments fail. Experiments are risky. Experiments push boundaries. Many times, experiments raise more questions than they answer. But in the end, something new is discovered.

It’s important to say right up front that we’re not setting out to solve any specific problem – but we do hope to discover something new – and maybe bring a little restoration along the way.

What’s been catching your eye?

  1. Chris,
Thanks! We’ve had 2 families from Canada jump in.
    Peace,

These are great links; I especially love the ‘acoustic crash’ idea. Gotta think about trying that one…
