Hi Twitter-friend – thanks for clicking the link in my Twitter profile. I set this page up to give you a bit more info about me and what I do.
My name is Chris Vacher and I live in a beautiful town called Orangeville, about an hour northwest of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I’m married to a great woman and we have three daughters, born in 2005, 2007 and 2008.
I’m on staff full-time at Orangeville Baptist Church as the Director of Worship and have been here since the fall of 2005. My main role is creating our Sunday morning services. We’re a multi-service, multi-generational, contemporary church with a rich, long (150 years!) history. I have the great privilege of working with an awesome team of staff and volunteers who are committed to glorifying God and seeing Him transform our region
and our world.
I started ChrisFromCanada.com in 2006 as a way of disciplining my thoughts related to my job and also to meet other people who are passionate about similar things. Since you are exploring Twitter, you also know the importance of getting to know those with common passions!
I have written no books, I have released no CD’s, I have not done nation-wide tours. If you are looking for expert advice, this is not the place. I’m just an average Canadian dude trying to find the best way to lead people to a deeper understanding of what it means to worship God. Chris Still at the hospital. Little man only wants to sleep when dad is holding him. Little man's dad is pretty okay with that.

Chris Baby boy Vacher born at 1:24 this morning. 9 pounds even. Everyone's doing great so far - trying to get some rest before sunrise.

Chris We're coming up on 15 hours. I really hope this baby isn't waiting for Labour Day.

Chris 12 hours. Baby's not here yet. Taking his sweet time. The peanut gallery might suggest he's taking after his dad.

Chris No baby yet. Orangeville hospital cafeteria closes at 2:30 so I'm escaping for some dinner.

Chris Up early with the family. Heading to the hospital this morning to have a baby! Prayers definitely appreciated.
