Hillsong reaction to “Shout To The Lord” on American Idol
Well this is the first official response I’ve seen from Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong crew concerning the “Shout To The Lord” fiasco on American Idol. Pretty amazing to see the response that has been floating around blogworld the past few days – all I know is that there is definitely more to the story and the whole story will eventually come out.
Here‘s what Hillsong says -
“Darlene Zschech and Hillsong Church were not asked, nor approved, of the name of Jesus being replaced,” the spokesperson said. “We were pleased to see that the song was performed again with the correct lyrics.”
Alright. I’m ashamed. I’ve posted a video from GodTube and linked an article from CBN. Not good.
