I totally agree with your premise, but I find it pretty funny that you refer to a song from 1980 as an “old song.” What does that make you and me? ;-)

Yeah I think anything written before the late 90′s Vineyard/”new worship” movement is considered old.
Bro, I had the privileged to spend some time this summer with them out in Redding, CA. The combination between the song, the words and the raddest heart and passion for Christ create these atmospheres where the Holy Spirit can do some crazy and awesome work.
Some rad people out there. Some rad teaching out there. Well worth the trip.
