Message

The idea with this series is that we’re doing all of our worship/community stuff at the front end and the message at the back end. This is more of a teaching rather than preaching series (that doesn’t mean there’s no scripture involved) so it’s a better fit doing it this way.
For our worship section we’re really focusing on the love of God (were you able to figure that out??) which will be picked up later in the message. For the call to worship we’ll be starting with some silence and then playing through “True Love” by Phil Wickham. This will be a performance song and we’re using a video I saw online to go with it. I contacted the producer and he sent me the full version – sweet! I took out the original audio track, replaced it with a click and we’ll be using that tomorrow. It will set the stage really nicely for the whole service.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. I'm currently on sabbatical this summer - you can read more about my sabbatical here: Personal Update - What's Next
Since I'm away from the blog I've decided to close comments. I love the interaction and discussion that happens with readers and since I'm not able to do that this summer, I'll be very much looking forward to that when I return in August.
