ChurchRelevance.com posted an article on “4 Wild and Crazy Christmas Services” and they mentioned a church that I hadn’t really heard of before.
Church on the Move is located in Tulsa, OK and seems to be doing some pretty awesome stuff in terms of creativity. Here are some photos of their Christmas service which they called “This Christmas”:

Wow – pretty awesome stuff! I went over to their site and had a bit of a look through and found an article on their website called “Cause For Creativity” – looks like a great outline of their creative philosophy and talks a bit about their creative process.
COTM’s Worship Pastor is Andy Chrisman, who has toured for a bunch of years with 4HIM, and their Creative Arts Pastor is Whitney George. I’m not sure if anyone who reads this is connected with Whitney but if he blogs I’d love to be reading it!
Anyways, not really much more to say about this church other than it looks like they really do have a clear sense of direction and calling and they have great teams of people who are willing to work hard to execute the vision. I’ll definitely be following what these guys are up to.
Thanks for reading Church Relevance, Chris!
To answer your question, Whitney George does not blog.
THis chucrh has been around for years. If I’m not mistaken they are the “hub” of the oneighty youth ministry franchise as well.
Back in the 80s they produced Gospel Bill (kids) and Fire by Nite (teens) videos that were pretty popular in children’s ministries and youth groups.
Willie George (I’m guessing is Whitney’s dad?) spearheaded a LOT of that creative stuff back then and really pushed the oneighty concept through.
I think he’s a cool dude.

oops sorry for the double post
Hey Chris, thanks for popping by the site. COTM is the real deal…I’ve visited several times and it’s a feast for the senses.
I meet with Andy once a week to record and produce his local radio show and he’s all the time telling me about new idea they’re up. (Great guy!!)
As far as the technical side goes, a couple years back, they hired Andrew Stone, the former production manager for Third Day (and others) and also lighting designer extraodinaire Daniel Cannell (Third Day, Switchfoot, etc.).
Spiritually, Andy and Whitney are doing amazing things to make sure their creative arts staff and volunteers are serving from truly worshipful hearts AND excelling and getting better at what they do.
And they’re original music ain’t that bad, either! Since my wife and I aren’t members at COTM, we try to go on the Wednesday evenings where Pastor Willie takes off and Andy just leads worship for over an hour. If you can, try to pick up their first EP, “Beautiful Name.”
Again, thanks for stopping by. Feel free to subscribe or pop on over again sometime.
