this looks like a Blue Man Group show. the song sounds good though. and wow! for the production.

  2. Russ Hutto says:

    I love the song.

I don’t get the painting though. Kind of weird.

  3. HOLY COW!!!!!!

That may be one of the most creative things I’ve ever seen . . .

  4. Tom Lister says:

Yeah the painting was a bit “out there” but it was cool anyway. And it seems they always try and push the envelope at this church. Cool to see for sure! Good tune too!

  5. Just saw this @ ragamuffin…
Can I honestly say I was kinda distracted by the fact that there were two women painting this man’s body?
I’m sorry. I’m sorry. It’s just the truth.

  6. chelan says:

i hear ya, mandy! distracted is the right word. it was a good concept, but the result is, for me, pick whilch one you want your attention to go to – the words, or the painting.

    this is beautiful.
    thanks for posting it

I saw this video earlier this week and honestly I admire the fact they were willing to try something new. I dont necessarily think they were trying to push the envelope, just be creative. To some it was well received, to others it wasnt. Either way I admire the effort.

Great song by the way. And oh yeah, I enjoy the blog here. First time viewer.

  9. I’m finding the response pretty interesting. There seems to be a gender divide emerging!

Hey man have you used this in services?

  11. donna says:

    Interesting comments.
I was at that service and believe me, you didn’t know where to look because not only were 2 women painting Dex, but they had these illuminated drums in the isles that were splattering confetti every time they hit them. Definite sensory overload. Usually the audience is dancing and singing to the music but we all just sat there dumbfounded. I didn’t know what to think at first, but every time after that, when they performed the song (without the paint) it was energizing. Then when they filmed the DVD about a month later, New Creation was the encore and everyone went wild.

Just discovered that he was the singer from All Together Separate. Now I like it even more.

Miss you at Recreate, Chris. Maybe Brooke and I will make it next year. Fred got back just in time to hit the stage for a conference he was leading the worship for here and had to tell us all the good stuff you guys experienced.

I wanted to meet Stu G!!!

That was amazing. It captured the newness of life, in color. No longer are we plain, dry, bland, gray, grim, hopeless, empty vessels. But with salvation, we have become bright and lively in appearance, brilliant in color, standing out for all to see. Obviously this isn’t our outward appearance, but it is our new spiritual nature bursting forth. I loved that video.

You know what is funny about this, I would search for this song and it would always take me to your blog. I never really paid attention to the title of blog, then i just realized that I know that title from somewhere (Chris from Canada). Small world I guess.
Thanks for posting this up. I like to watch it once a week for some creative inspiration.
