Not just by his guitar chops, but by the gentleness and authenticity with which he taught us about worship and acoustic guitar mechanics.... IMO, he's one of the most geniune guys I've ever met. Not only unbelievably talented, but also annointed in what he's been called to do. He's a steady, reliable example for all of us who lead worship. I have been a HUGE Baloche fan since I was in college. I saw him a few years ago at the Integirty worship conference in Colorado Springs, CO. It snowed almost 3 feet in 24 hours. We still got there for the first day of the conference. Baloche lead worship one night and was awesome. He got into this spot where he started imitating Barry White and had his bass player play some funk on the bass as Baloche was digressing away from worship then said, "And now something really strange...a two-headed monster!" I kid you not. It was awesome and it reassured me that I was normal. The most amazing part was that he was able to regain and capture the attention of the audience and lead us back into God's presence. Baloche is awesome. I would love to win his new CD.
