Theology of Worship – Notes Day 1

I’m not sure if anyone cares about this or not but I thought I’d throw it out there. Here are the notes from the first day of the theology of worship class I’m taking. If you’re reading it, some stuff probably requires context and explanation so feel free to ask if I can clarify anything.

I’m back in class today – listening hard and learning lots!

I’d be especially interested to hear if you disagree with anything the prof has to say…

I am digging the reading list in your previous post. Does your seminary make the audio from the lectures available for download? I would love to give a listen.

  3. Nate – Not much to disagree with so far. The focus has mostly been on word study and a survey of Old Testament worship practice.

Chad – These lectures aren’t being recorded for distribution. I don’t think Heritage does anything like that. Yes, the reading list is great.

I was going to take that class… but just had a bit too much going on in life right now. Hope you’re enjoying it!
