Chris, great post. I agree with Kim – anytime I use a Baloche song, it just seems to lend itself to another one. That happens with Chris Tomlin tunes as well…

I’m SO excited to read about your single mom’s event! We are planning a June series on ‘Generous Living’ and spent time this morning talking about what sort of community project we could do that would be unique and meaningful. Your idea really sparked my interest, and I love what you did on the website to get folks involved.

Thanks so much for posting this — I have a feeling it’s going to get our community impact team really excited!

just thought of this… another song along the same theme as ‘God of This City’ is ‘Lord We Pray’ by Billy & Cindy Foote. Great song.

Yeah Paul’s songs definitely work very well together.

I’m going to post the video that we put together with photos from our region. I wonder if other churches have done the same thing – could be a cool little project.

That’s a great opening set of 3 songs. It’s curious; whenever I set out to include Paul Baloche song, I usually end up surrounding it with another Paul Baloche song. It’s as if they all work together….

I like how you used ‘God of This City’. That’s a great idea. Thanks for the insight and background.
